The skipper is John Keen, a retired financial executive from Campbell, California.  I have been sailing since 1986, mostly on San Francisco Bay and coastal trips in the ocean, but also several chartering trips in the Caribbean. 

The dream of sailing to Mexico and across the Pacific Ocean was long held, and began to be realized in 1997.

 

 
pic_Rut.jpg (80226 bytes) First mate is Chairat Midindam, nicknamed "Rut".  With no prior boating experience, Rut has learned much since joining the boat in March 2002.  He has good mechanical skills, is a hard worker and loves to cook.  He enjoyed seeing the sights in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia and is looking forward to seeing the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.
